Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) is responsible for effectively managing relationships with corporations and foundations in support of the faculty and strategic initiatives within the UH System.

What Does CFR Do?

In collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI), CFR:

• Researches and identifies potential foundation and corporate foundations;
• Assists in developing letters of inquiry (LOI);
• Assists in developing proposals;
• Provides documents needed for proposal submission; and (i.e. IRS 501(c)3 determination letter, annual report, financial statement, cover letter, etc)
• Assembles, packages, and mails the final proposal.

• Assists in developing grant reports; and
• Develops a stewardship plan for implementation.
