When potential meets opportunity something special happens -- transformation. Often the triumph is private, such as achieving a personal goal. Other transformations take place in the public eye and can reshape entire communities in Hawaiʻi and far beyond our shores.

Facilitating transformations, small and large, is what drives the Foundation. Right now, the Foundation is partnering with UH during their time of growth. This significant, strategic transformation is fueled by the Centennial Campaign, an historic private fundraising initiative to support the University of Hawaiʻi’s commitment to our students, our community, and our world.

The campaign’s goal is $250 million, and thanks to many of our alumni and friends, we have already surpassed $180 million. Every day, our inspiration grows as we see the impact the Centennial Campaign is already making, and will continue to make, on the lives of so many promising students, centers of academic excellence, hubs of creativity and more.

The Centennial Campaign relies almost entirely on contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other philanthropic sources. As you browse through our website, you will find numerous exciting investment opportunities. We hope you will join us as we embark on the next phase of our Centennial Campaign.

With your support, we can reach a successful conclusion in June 2009 and surpass our $250 million goal. The result will be a transformation of our much loved University of Hawaiʻi System and the 10 campuses statewide, as we embark on the next 100 years with a new level of excellence that will benefit Hawaiʻi and beyond, for many generations to come.
